Reclaimed | Retold serves as Lorelle Rau’s final thesis project for the completion of her Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. For this project, Rau is curating a pop-up exhibition that features assemblage art that uses found objects and/or salvaged materials. Rau will execute all aspects of the exhibition including curating, coordinating, marketing, raising funds, installing artwork, selling artwork, and planning and hosting an informal opening reception.

This project will be divided into two phases. First, is the planning and partial implementation phase of the exhibition, which will occur from January 5 through March 12, 2015. The second part of the project is the continued implementation or execution of the exhibition that will take place between April 3 and 26, 2015.

Organizing this project from start to finish will allow Rau to utilize the knowledge and skills she has gained while pursuing a degree at SCAD and from her seven years of experience working in arts administration.
